Seconds anyone?

When we were in Algonquin Park on Friday, it appears as though someone or something had a Rock Dove (pigeon) for a snack on our back deck.  All that remained is feathers and some bits of blood, it actually looked as though the bird had exploded.

Today, the main suspect was sitting in our White Spruce tree patiently waiting for seconds.  Too bad we had to head out before seeing if it was successful again or not.  I am pretty confident we will see this Cooper’s Hawk again this winter.

Much appreciated Scott! The Coopers Hawk stayed on the branch for quite awhile allowing me to try a variety of settings you suggested, all shot through our window 🙂 HNY to you and Deb as well!
